Where is Maguindanao ?
Maguindanao is a province in the Philppines located in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).Since 2014 the provincial capital is Buluan but the legislative branch of provincial government, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, convenes in the provincial old capitol in the town of Sultan Kudarat. It borders Lanao Del sur to the north, Cotabato to the east, Sultan Kudarat to the south and Illana bay to the west.
How can we go to Maguindanao ?
There are 2 ways to go to Maguindanao the first one is :
By Air:
From Cavite Dasmarinas you can take a bus ride that goes to Lawton and after that take a taxi ride that goes to NAIA Terminal 2
You can book a flight in Pacific Airlines or Cebu Pacific from Manila to Cotabato, it takes 1hr and 40 mins.
From Cotabato you can go to Maguindanao by a taxi and it takes 11 mins.
By Land:
If you do not have a car you can take a bus, from Dasmarinas Cavite take a bus ride that goes to Lawton and after that took a jeep ride that goes to Doroteo Jose LRT from Doroteo Jose LRT ride a train that goes to EDSA LRT, Go to Philtranco Pasay and ride a bus ferry that goes to Davao.
From Davao take a taxi that goes to Bansalan,Bansalan take a bus ride that goes to Makilala,Makilala take a taxi that goes to Maguindanao.

1.) Lake Sebu
-is a natural lake located in the municipality of Lake Sebu, South Cotabato within the Alah Valley Region. The Philippine Government has recognized it as one of the country's most important watersheds. Lake Sebu is one of the many bodies of water supplying important irrigation to the provinces of Sultang Kudarat and South Cotabato.
But did you know besides of Lake Sebu there are 7 falls of Lake Sebu 😉
The 7 falls of Lake Sebu in South Cotabato is a major attraction in the region. Falls #1 "Hikong Alo"
Falls #2 "Hikong Bente"
Falls #3 "Hikong B'lebel"
Hikong B'lebel means "Zigzag or Coil".It is hardly accessible since it is situated between two cliffs and directly streams to Hikong Lowig.
Falls #4 "Hikong Lowig"
Hikong Lowig means "Booth".it is approxinmately 40 feet high. It is hardly accessible since there is is no trail leading to it. The slippery rocks within it's vicinity add risks. It directly streams to a no-joke high, powerful hikong ukol.
Falls #5 "Hikol Ukol"
Hikong Ukol means "Wildflower" is estimated to be around 50 feet high. Its powerful drop create a misty effect like Hikong Bente. It can be accessed through concrete trail. Getting close to its base requires backward creeping along a slippery, little stream.
Falls #6 "Hikong K'Fo-i"
Hikong K'Fo-i means Shorts creates an enormous howling sound because of its compact, powerful drop.Approximately 10 feet high.Its pool is really wide but dangerous due to its swirling wild deep water.
Falls #7 "Hikong Tonok"
Hikong Tonok means soil is as high as Kikong Alo.This 3 tiered waterfalls rapidly drops on a sloping rock.
2.) Grand Mosque (Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Masjid)
The Grand Mosque if the Cotabato City is the Largest Mosque in the Philippines and was funded by by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam. It was comppleted in 2011 at a reported cost US $ 48 million.
Most of the people who visited here admire the details on the windows, the white walls, the gray accent details up to the golden painted crescent moon on the top of minarets. There's a markes elegance in it's simplicity in design. Despite being a muslim place of worship, The architect and designers behind the mosque are christians. How symbolic of two religions are working together, much like intermingling the beliefs in cotabato city.
3.) Blue Lagoon
This Blue Lagoon is one of the favorite place and highlighted place of the tourist in Maguindanao.The water in this Lagoon is from natural bodies of water.The water of the lagoon is very cool, very refreshing and very revitializing !
4.) Al Jammelah Weaving Center
If you want to expereince culture atmosphere let's go to Al Jammelah Weaving Center !
The center main objectives is to preserve the "Inaul" weaving crafts.Founded by Miss Albaya Wampa, the center employs women from its local community.
Inaul is a time-honored weaving tradition in Maguindanao people usually made into malong or wraparound skirts commonly and regular use by both sexes.
5.) Pink Mosque (Masjid Dimaukom)
The Pink Mosque is situated in the Municipality of Datu Saudi Ampatuan,Maguindanao. It was funded by Mayor Samsodin Dimaukom and Completed on December 2012. The pink color of the mosque symbolizes peace,love and unity and interfaith brotherhood.
